"Light" Cario, who won his A-match debut without losing a point

Guglielmo Vicario won his A-match debut with a scoreless victory.

Italy met Ecuador in a friendly match in March at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey on the 25th and won 2-0.

Italy took the lead from the very early hours. When Federico DiMarco's free kick hit the defense wall in the third minute of the first half, Lorenzo Pellegrini finished with a lightening mid-range shot. The shot shook the Ecuadorian net.

Ecuador also fought back, but had a hard time scoring. In the 38th minute of the first half, Pervis Estupinyan fired a right-footed shot from the right side of the penalty box, but it was blocked by the defense. The first half ended with Italy leading 1-0.

In the second half, it was not easy to score. At the end of the game, Italy sealed the game. Niccolo Barella scored with a clean chip shot in the fourth minute of extra time in the second half. Italy's 2-0 victory ended the game.

The match was Vicario's A-match debut. Vicario was selected for the Italy national team for the first time in September. However, he failed to make his debut. Since then, he has consistently been called up to the national team, but was lagging behind prominent competitors such as Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Vicario didn't give up and sharpened his sword. He played in 30 matches for his club Tottenham Hotspur this season, scoring 43 runs and seven clean sheets. Although not a small number of runs, his performance was not bad given that Tottenham's defense collapsed due to injuries and disciplinary action in the middle of the season.

In the end, he made his A-match debut against Ecuador in recognition of his performance. According to "Football Italy," Vicario had never played a match for both the Italian adult and age-group teams. Despite the tensions, Vicario made an easy debut by making one save and five recoveries for 90 minutes. 스포츠토토

After the match, Vicario said, "My own goal was to score no runs and win. I'm really happy to achieve that goal. We deserved to win tonight."

Regarding the content of the game, he said, "We were well aware of when to come under pressure and when to counterattack. That's how I scored my second goal," adding, "It's important to read the various stages of the game. You may suffer a little, but the important thing is to know what to do."

Finally, "My goal is to develop every day without setting limits. I try to experience the present and expect the maximum results from myself," he said.
